all work and no play

So now its two days before new years? Where the hell did time go? My Christmas break is slowly coming to an end and it hardly even felt like I had time off. My last exam was just last week and since then I've been working pretty much every day. It's hard to believe that Christmas is over and done with and that 2011 is just around the corner.
I got a Nikon D90 from my parents so I'm hoping to start playing around with it soon and be less of a lazy artist. Maybe I'll actually try doing a 365 photo project....we shall see...

december?

How it is already December? Winter is slowly starting to creep up and I'm already not looking forward to it! The past couple of days all I've really wanted to do was stay in bed, avoiding everything....particularly school. I really wish I could just skip the next week. Classes end Dec 8th and I have a huge drawing due tomorrow that I haven't started because I'm at a complete loss for ideas, a big painting due next week, along with a Research Methods assignment, a quiz for my Sex, Love and Marriage class, an 8 page essay which I haven't finished reading the books for, and a drawing portfolio along with my sketchbook. Somewhere in between all that I have to start studying for my cumulative research methods exam on a SUNDAY (..thanks, York) and a Psych&Law exam. Needless to say its going to be an interesting time. It really sucks when you actually don't have enough time to get everything done well...if only I'd learn my lesson by now and not leave things to last minute.
On the brighter side though, I had a lovely chat with Elena today about our summer adventure and we have the bulk of it all figured out and I'm also in the process of filling out a study abroad application in hopes of spending my last year of university elsewhere.
Regardless of all the work I should be doing I've definitely put it on hold in order to watch this movie....gotta love the 90's...
